Everest North Face Expedition
Everest North Face Expedition: Mount Everest /29028 ft 8,848 m is the highest peak of the World. Sir Edmund Hillary and Late Tenzing Norgay Sherpa first climbed this peak in May 29, 1953, after that this mountain becomes popular destination for all persons who want to make extreme adventure. The North Everest Base camp(18000 ft) lies in Tibet near from Rongbuk monastery which has good facility of transportation so only after base camp we use yaks to carry things up to advance camps. All the climbers who mass there at the base camp seem really busy with excitement for the preparation of their expedition to reach on the summit.Above the Base camp, we have to cross crevasses, Seracs and ice block. Similarly we should face to the way up having Chunks of ice as large as our houses where we should used fixed ropes and aluminum ladders to climb ahead camp 1st 6400m.
The climbers who want to summit Mt. Everest has two options for arrangement as for same summit you have two routes from two different countries (Tibet /China and Nepal). Shishapangma Expedition
Mt. Shishapangma Expedition: This mountain lies on the Northern Himalaya Range in Tibet. This is one of the very lovely mountain of Tibet – China, only a very few people in the world had idea about the Shishapangma before the Chinese opened Tibet to the western summiteers iloven 1978. The Tibetans regard it as the very holy mountain. It is the youngest mountain among the peaks situated above the height of 8000m, and there are only fourteen mountains above in the 8000m high Himalayan ranges. Till to date many climbers have succeeded to approach on its apex.
The North West normal route to Shishapangma Expedition takes us up easy angled snow slopes up to 35 degrees with one steeper section. The necessary lines will be fixed and placed on the steeper or crevassed sections. Following our acclimatization in Zhangmu & Nyalam, we will arrive at the base camp (5000m) to make ready our final preparations and acclimatization walks. Yaks transport our expedition gear from Base camp 5000m, to ABC at 5,400m. Three further camps will be place en-route.
Gurla Mandhata Expedition
The Mount Gurla Mandhata Expedition (Namo Nani /7694m) is the neighboring mountain lies in northern Himalaya range in West Tibet Nagri region, which is situated near by the sacred mountain Kailash & holy Lake Mansarovar. In local language it is well known as “Namo Nani” means the “Fairy’s Peak” and it is made of with six ridges. The west ridge is like the Fan shaped and East Ridge is with very much steeper cliffs. Towards its North the holy lake Manasarovar and Langatse are situated. Gurla Mandhata base camp is situated on the on the glacier at 5600m. Gurla Mandhata Mountain 25,242 ft was first climbed by Sino-Japanese expedition in 1985. After that only 5 ascent up there have been made till to date to this mountain. Presently according to the recent data, a French expedition team has climbed this mountain. The way to the ascent goes via Zalonpa glacier from the Northern slope. From the top of the Gurla Mandhata, you can see the beautiful sparkling lakes Mansarovar and Rakchays (Demon lake); and then the mountain Kailash peak can be seen along with this on its background. The ascent can be started from the Zalunpa glacier.
Cho-Oyu Expedition
Cho-Oyu Expedition (Cho Oyu 8201m) was Succeed by Austrians in 1954. It is about 30 km west of Everest at the head of the Gokyo valley. The mountain was reconnoitered during the 1951 Everest reconnaissance, and a British team led by Eric Shipton attempted the peak in 1952. Cho-oyu expedition, the first ascent was made via the north-west ridge using a route through Tibet from the Nangpa La – not strictly a legal route. An Indian expedition made the second ascent in 1958 and a German ski expedition made the third ascent in 1964. By 2011 a total of 146 expeditions had been made on Cho Oyu.
Lakpa Ri Expedition
Lakpa Ri Expedition; Lhakpa RI lies in Nepal -Tibet border near to Mt. Everest, due to easy accessible to reach & nice mountain experience of climbing nearby Mt. Everest this is becoming famous expedition in Tibet. Lakpa Ri is between the upper east Rombuk and Kharta glacier. It was first climbed by George Mallory who was on his way to the Everest Reconnaissance in 1921 and he had seen its North Col. Mera Peak Expedition
Mera peak Expedition (6654m/21831ft) is highest trekking peak in Himalaya which is under the NMA formalities to climbers. It lies between Hinku and Hongu Drangka valleys in Everest – Khumbu region so this peak is on the most attractive view point of Himalaya which provides panoramic view of Chamlang, Kanchenjunga, Makalu and Baruntse in the east and the peak of Cho-oyu, Amadablam and Kang Thega to the west, Lhotse, Nuptse & Mt. Evereston north . There are some high & advance passes on route if you want to adjust Everest Base camp & Kalapatter on same program. The extension of Mera peak expedition with EBC with High pass Trek is a part of “ICE COL” trek leads to Chukkung after crossing Ama Lapcha Pass.
Dromo Peak
Dromo Peak 6855m is open only for expedition and not like the other trekking peaks. It lies in eastern Nepal (Kanchenjunga Region) The Government Royalty fee is (US$ 2000) and you have to be accompanied by a Liaison Officer. All the documents procedure is similar as Expedition of Higher Mountain.
Pokalde Peak Expedition
Pokalde peak Expedition, it is lies on Everest – Khumbu region near from Kongma-la Pass . Pokhalde (5806m/19049ft) was first climbed in 1953 from the Kongma- la route so till now climbers use this route to make Expedition. The north side of this peak has a small hanging glacier. Pokhalde appears to be most of a rocky ridge dominated by the vastness of the Mt.Nuptse.
Pachermo Peak Expedition
Pachermo Peak Expedition (6187m), this peak lies on Rolwaling Region have joining adventurous route to Mt. Everest region with Tashi Lapcha pass so it is perfect program who want to explore Himalaya with peak climbing & cross high advance passes to reach Thame- Namche to Everest base camp or back to Lukla. Pachermo peak (6187m/20298ft) lies south of Tashi Lapcha high pass. On the west of the ridge the face forms a uniform snow slope broken by crevasses and seracs rising from the rocky lower but tresses above the Drolambau glacier. This trekking & Expedition route can be extended with other peak climbing of Ramdung which is also famous peak for adventurous program.
Tent Peak Expedition
Tent Peak Expedition can make with Around Annapurna Base Camp Trek and Poon Hill Trek. In Local Language it is also called Tharpu Chuli 5500m/18045ft is situated in the route of the Annapurna Sanctuary trail in Annapurna Region western Nepal. Tharpu Chuli or Tent peak is beautiful mountain peak offers panoramic view of massive Annapurna range & western Nepal Himalayas. The name Tent Peak was given by Jimmy Roberts on 1950.
Pisang Peak Expedition
Pisang Peak Expedition: Few places in the world have such a splendid variety of natural beauty as the Annapurna region. This region is considered as the most popular trekking region in Nepal and about two-thirds of the trekkers in Nepal do visit this region. Pisang peak Expedition is a rare combination of long arrays of snow-capped peaks, crystal clear lakes, and turbulent rivers with deep gorges, Tibetan monasteries, hot springs, and picturesque villages inhabited by simple and friendly ethnic people. The Kali Gandaki Gorge, the deepest in the world and the Lake Tilicho (4919 m), the highest lake in the world, is located here. One can easily attract by the spectacular panorama of Nepal’s central himalaya, the Annapurnas, Manaslu and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. The famous sacred “fish tail” mountain is an added advantage to this region. Most of the trekking to this region starts from the famous tourist destination, Pokhara, also known as dreamland of Nepal and is famous for its lake sitting the “front row center” to one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world.
With the combination of this trek, we can add peak climbing on the route Pisang peak & Chulus West together provides Extreme Aventure & excellent experience of Himalaya.
Naya Kanga Peak Expedition
Naya Kanga Peak Expedition: Naya Kanga 5844m or Ganja la chuli lies on central Himalayan range – Langtang region. Langtang Region is near from Kathmandu so it is being popular for trekking as well as mountaineering. The views form Langtang region is different than the other parts of Himalayas as it provide the nice views of Tibetan mountains & valleys. From the summit of Naya Kanga we can see spectacular panoramic views of mountains in Nepal and Tibet including Langshisha Ri (6,370m), Pemathang Ri (6,836m), Shishapangma (8,046m), Langtang Lirung (7,425m), Pemthang Kapro Ri (6,830m) and Langtang II (6,571m). If we trek north above Kangjin, there are several trekking & hiking points that provide both the magnificent views and the acclimatization. North – east of Kyanjin Ri (4,700m), there are two peaks; Yala Peak (5, 500m) and Tsergo Peak (5,749m) that provide good climbing for acclimatization.
Chulu East Peak Expedition
Chulu East Peak Expedition 6584m/21601ft was first climbed in 1955 by a German expedition via the North-East ridge. The peak of Chulu East and West forms an integral part of the Manang Himal, which are included in the larger Damodar Himal. Chulu East lies South-East of Chulu West and is a comparatively lower peak. Another peak two miles away, though separated from Chulu East by a col, which is 5608m/18400ft, is often mistakenly climbed as Chulu East.
Lobuche Peak Expedition
Lobuche peak Expedition & Everest Base Camp 5400m is scene of so many triumphs and tragedies or even more challenging, Kalapathar 5545m with its superb view of Everest, the Khumbu Glacier – and the surrounding peaks. The additional extreme adventure will be provided by the Lobuche peak 6119m climbing, this is quite technical climbing in compare with Island peak which provides total experience of mountain climbing on Himalayas. Climbers make this Expedition before to plan Higher Mountains such as Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Everest, Mt. Cho-Oyu, Mt Pumori etc as for practicing & gain knowledge of mountain expedition in high altitude,Rock & snow climbing.
Kanchenjunga Expedition
Mt. Kanchenjunga Expedition 8,586m lies in east Nepal which is third-highest peak in the world and the second-highest in Nepal, Mount Kanchenjunga have four summits which are Kanchenjunga Main 8586m, Kanchenjunga west (Yalung Kang) 8,505m, Kanchanjunga Central (Middle) 8,482m ‘Kanchenjunga South 8,494 m, Kangbachen 7,903 m, among them the west summit yalung Kang 8,420 m is supposed as separate peak then Kanchenjunga but officially it belongs to main peak. German expeditions tried to summit the peak in 1929, 1930 and again in 1931 from Sikkim side, but none were successful. After closed Kanchenjunga then climbers tried summit of this mountain form Nepal side. In 1955 a team led by Dr Charlas Evans approached the peak via the Yalung Glacier. The History of Expedition of this mountain in Nepal is started from 1976 when Japanese Team tried to took summit from Nepal side, finally they got summit of Yalung Kang on 1974, after this the team of German Expedition succeed on 1975.
Pumori Expedition
Mt. Pumori Expedition, it is lies on Mt. Everest region – Solukhumbu, this mountain is one of the most technical mountain in the Himalaya for mountaineering. This Pumori expedition provides extreme adventure not only by the technical climbing, also with panoramic view of many mountains in Himalaya ranges including Mt. Everest. In this Expedition the Base Camp will be set-up at 5300m altitude just below Kalapatter 5545m. The first Camp will be at elevation 5700m, second Camp is on 6200m and third camp on 6480m. The route follows the south ridge then take east with passing through crevasses, climb up to Pumori cliff to touch summit of the most technical mountain.
