OVERVIEW :
Mt. Kanchenjunga Expedition 8,586m lies in east Nepal which is third-highest peak in the world and the second-highest in Nepal, Mount Kanchenjunga have four summits which are Kanchenjunga Main 8586m, Kanchenjunga west (Yalung Kang) 8,505m, Kanchanjunga Central (Middle) 8,482m ‘Kanchenjunga South 8,494 m, Kangbachen 7,903 m, among them the west summit yalung Kang 8,420 m is supposed as separate peak then Kanchenjunga but officially it belongs to main peak. German expeditions tried to summit the peak in 1929, 1930 and again in 1931 from Sikkim side, but none were successful. After closed Kanchenjunga then climbers tried summit of this mountain form Nepal side. In 1955 a team led by Dr Charlas Evans approached the peak via the Yalung Glacier. The History of Expedition of this mountain in Nepal is started from 1976 when Japanese Team tried to took summit from Nepal side, finally they got summit of Yalung Kang on 1974, after this the team of German Expedition succeed on 1975.
