OVERVIEW :

The main attractions of this Shalu to Nartang Trek are Tsetang town, Samye valley, Samye Monastery, Shalu Monastery, commonly known as Zhalu Monastery, the seat of Buton Rinpoche, Ngor Monastery, Narthang Monastery, Shigatse and Lhasa city, Camping and Trekking on Alpine areas including natural sceneries.

Shalu to Nartang trek starts from shigatse or Gyantse, the famous cities in Tibet . We will drive to Shalu Monastery and traverses west over a couple of small ranges to Ngor Monastery. The routes provide you experiences of several villages having uninhabited dry canyons. This trek cross two soft and dry passes having a name Showa-la and Char-la.
