OVERVIEW :

The main attractions of Namtso trek is Nomad life, Monasteries, the holy salt lake, Nam-Tso excursion, walking & camping on Tibet, Lhasa tour, some high passes like Largen-la 4,970m etc.

The Namtso Lake trek starts from Lhasa to the famous salt lake in Tibet “Namtso”. It is situated 190 km north of Lhasa . Namtso Lake is the sanctuary of many species of migrating birds and other local birds. Thus lake is second largest salt lake in Tibet . Namtso lake trek across the Nyenclien Thangla Mountains to pebbled shores of holy Namtso Lake takes 6 to 7 days.

Optional route to Exit Nepal :

Day 11: Drive to Shigatse
Day 12: Drive to Segar
Day 13: Drive to Nyalam
Day 14: Drive to Kathmandu
