Lhasa and Everest Base Camp Tour is the combined tour of Mt. Everest Base camp & Lhasa will provide you sightseeing of Tashilumpo monastery in Shigatse, Khumbum Monastery in Gyantse. In Lhasa we will have sightseeing and excursion of the Potala Palace a great museum with its proportions and priceless treasures Jokhang Temple the holiest of Tibetan shrines, houses two images of the Buddha brought as dowry by Songtsen Gampo Nepali and Chinese queens along the bustling street of Barkhor Market. You will also visit Norbulingka the summer palace of the Dalai Lamas,Drepung and Sera Monasteries in Lhasa. On The way we will drive to Rongbuk & visit North Face of Mt.Everest Base Camp. We can start this trip from Lhasa or from Kathmandu. In this Lhasa and Everest Base Camp Tour program you can extend program for Drikung Thil monastery which lies 150 KM north east form Lhasa. Drikung Thil is one of the old heritage of Tibet.

ITINERARY:

Fly on China Southwest Airlines flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival at Gonggar Airport, you shall be met by your Tibetan Guide and transfer provided to Lhasa City. O/N Hotel.

Visit The Potala & Norbulingka Palace, Drepung & Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Bazaar.

Drive to Gyantse crossing The KAMBA LA 4794m & KARO LA 5010m PASS via The Lake Yamdrok-Tso. O/N Hotel.

AM Visit The Khumbhum Stupa & Phalkor Monastery at Gyantse. Embark on a pleasant 2 hrs. drive to Shigatse.PM Sightseeing Tour of The Tashilhunpo Monastery and the free Tibetan market. O/N Hotel.

Drive to (Approx. 8 hrs) Xegar . O/N at Guest House.

Drive over rocky terrain to the village of Dza Rongphu. O/N Guest house.

2 hr. trek from The Ronghu Monastery will lead you the base of the highest peak on earth The North Face Of Mount Everest (8848m) Or Mount Qomolangma in Tibetan. Explore the Base Camp and The Rongphu Glacier. Retreat to lodge. Later in the afternoon, return to Tingri approx 96 Kms/ 3hrs. O/N Hotel.

Drive downhill to Nyalam crossing two spectacular passes The Lalung La (5082m) & Nyalam (3800m) PASS. O/N Guest house.

Drive downhill to Zhangmu and to The Friendship Bridge where transportation awaits for the Groups final journey to Kathmandu.
