OVERVIEW :

Fishing Tour in Tamor River is one of the best rivers to have fishing and river trip in Nepal. The combination of the white water along with the glorious environment will be enjoyable to watch. The Tamur River is originated from the third highest peak of the world and consequently the Tamur River is the sixth largest river of Nepal. Tamur River is one of the exciting rivers to the kayakers and rafters as well as fisherman also. The profile of the Tamur River is especially designed to do fishing experiences in Nepal. With the combination of the beautiful valley the fishing tour in Tamor River is something that will entertain us by providing us the magnificent view of the surroundings along with some fishing experiences.

The local people of the settlements around the Tamur River are also friendly and co operative. The Tamur River is originated from the melting snow of the Kanchenjunga and begins form Dovan and goes till Chatra. The total distances of the Tamur River goes for about 131 km which can be completed after the fishing trip for about 4 to 6 days. The best season to have the fishing and other rafting trip at Tamur River is during the season of October, November and April. The Tamur River has got 3 stars in the matter of white water rafting and scenery of the surroundings. Tamur River is one of the most spoken names of river where the visitors want to do rafting. It is one of the finest rivers in Nepal where one can go for rafting.

ITINERARY:

Arrive at Kathmandu, transfer to hotel.

From Kathmandu, we will catch the flight over to Biratnagar viewing the wonderful view of the surrounding. The flight will take only several hours for us to reach at the Biratnagar. After reaching at the Biratnagar, we will drive around 5 hours from the Biratnagar to reach at the starting point of our expedition.

From the starting point of our expedition, we will have the four hour trek to the starting point of the Tamur River. We will stop at different places to have the lunch and rest. We have to carry a camera with us while trekking because we may get many photo clicking opportunities while trekking at the region. The four day trekking will leads us all the way to the starting point of Tamur river at Dovan.

From the starting point of the Tamur River we will begin our fishing. We will do the whole day fishing and will have the lunch at the campsite and the night will be at the camp site as well.

The day can be used for both of the purposes i.e. we can do either fishing or visit at the local villages of the surroundings. We can explore around the beautiful villages along with the tradition and their culture.

We will return back to the Kathmandu following the way through the Chatra. Those who want to fly towards the Biratnagar airport or we will return back to the Kathmandu catching the main road through the highway.
