OVERVIEW :

Damodar kund Tour is on the west Himalaya of Nepal. It is spiritual destination for all AUM followers, due to high altitude and difficult location it is suggested to make this tour by helicopter but some of persons who love adventure can make trekking up to this destination including Lo-manthang and upper mustang region. This Damodar kunda tour combines Muktinath and other spiritual destinations as per the interest of the pilgrims. In Sanskrit Mukti symbolize Salvation or Nirvana and Nath symbolize God and have connection with Damodar Kund in upper himalaya. It is believed that pilgrimages should visit this temple after completing four spiritual sites “Chardham” of India .Muktinath consists of Buddhist Gompa and the pagoda style temple of Vishnu with 108 waterspouts. Buddhist call this valley the chumig gyatsa and believe that Guru Rinpoche meditated and gained achievement of spiritual knowledge around 12th century.

ITINERARY:

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport. Welcome by the Alps Adventure Staff. Transfer to Hotel and briefing about the package and check in Hotel.

After breakfast full day (6-7 Hrs) world heritage city sightseeing of Kathmandu (Visit: Pashupatinath Temple – Hindu temple which 4 km east from the downtown. Bouddhanath Stupa – The largest Buddhist stupa in South Asia which is 2km drive to north from Pashupatinath temple. Swayambhunath Stupa – The oldest Buddhist stupa which is on the hilltop, also known as Monkey Temple is 3 Km west from Kathmandu downtown. Kathmandu Durbar Square – The old Royal Palace was built on the reign of Mall King (15th -17th Century), Living goddess Kumari House with many more monuments.

After Breakfast drive to Pokhara 6 hrs approx. Arrive at Natural beauty city Pokhara. Check in hotel. Evening walk around Phewa lake.

Early in the morning transfer to airport for helicopter flight to Damadar Kunda, take bath & religious activities – back to Pokhara for lunch – After lunch half day sightseeing at Pokhara valley.

After Breakfast drive to Kathmandu, Check in Hotel
