This Annapurna Extensive trek is combination of round Annapurna with Throng La Pass, Kaligandaki River Valley , spiritual Temple Muktinath, Famous Mountain viewpoint Poon Hill , Annapurna Base camp and Ethnic villages including Australian Camp. Annapurna Circuit trek makes round the Annapurna range with crossing Thorong-La 5416m to Kaligandaki George. One of the most spiritual destination “Muktinath” comes on route after crossing high pass. The trekking trail offers splendid variety of natural beauty as the Annapurna region. This region is considered as one of the most popular trekking region in Nepal and about two-thirds of the trekkers in Nepal do visit this region. It is a rare combination of long arrays of snow-capped peaks, crystal clear lakes, and turbulent rivers with deep gorges, Tibetan monasteries, hot springs, and picturesque villages inhabited by simple and friendly ethnic people. The deepest Kali Gandaki George, the highest alpine Lake Tilicho (4919 m located here. One can easily attract by the spectacular panorama of Nepal’s central Himalaya, the Annapurna, Manaslu and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. The famous sacred “Fish Tail” mountain is an added advantage to this region. Most of the trekking to this region starts from the famous tourist destination, Pokhara, also known as dreamland of Nepal and is famous for its lake sitting the “front row center” to one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world. This trekking will be allowing you to reach up to the elevation of 5416m.
This Annapurna Extensive Trek offers you to walk completely around the Annapurna Massif. We trek through the lowland villages to the remote northern slope of the Himalaya, Manang region and down the dramatic Kali Gandaki crossing the 5416 m pass – probably the highest you will ever get without climbing a mountain.
After the route follows up hill to Poon Hill which is one of the best Mountain View point in Annapurna Region, after Poon Hill excursion the route extends to Annapurna Base camp. Annapurna Sanctuary (Annapurna Base camp) Trek is spectacular journey on foot to the South Face of Annapurna I – a pleasant hike through the ethnically diversified villages and forests assorted by flora and fauna. Explore the way upstream along the Modi Khola into the Annapurna Sanctuary, a valley surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks including the breathtaking Fishtail Peak-Machhapuchhare 6,993m. Experience the opportunity of watching sunrise over the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges from Poon Hill as the bequest of the trip. We pass mostly by the Gurung villages climbing up the famous Poon Hill, 3210 m, passing by the rhododendron, bamboo & pine forests to reach at our destination – Annapurna Base Camp. We start early in the morning to reach the Annapurna Base camp as the cloud in the noon makes the trail hard to find. From here we can have the tremendous views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna that towers above the sanctuary to the north-west. This is one of the wonderful combined trip for the adventure lovers. We return back to Pokhara through ethnic village Ghandruk, Landruk and Australian camp “Lumle”. Australian Camp of Lumle village offers nice mountain view and Pokhara valley. The short trek ends at Kande after tour around Lumle, than to Pokhara.
