OVERVIEW :

This Nepal Tibet Spiritual Tour covers all spiritual sites in Nepal and Tibet Himalaya including old monasteries, historic sites, retreat centres and temples. This program is focus on the drikung tour with explore Drikung Thil and drikung Thil monastery in Tibet which lies 150 KM north east form Lhasa. The Tradition drikung Kagyu experience is the great spiritual experience with Drikung Thil, Drikung Dzong, Drikung Tse and Yangrigar. The program can be extended for some days to cover all these drikung spiritual sites where the big celebrations occured in presence of Kyabgon Rinpoche on different months.

ITINERARY:

Arrival Pick up from Airport, Transfer to hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Full Day Kathmandu sightseeing visit Bouddhanath Stupa, Kapan Monastery.

Full day Kathmandu sightseeing visit patan , Swayambhunath and Dakshinkali. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

Fly to Gonggar Airport and transfer to Tsetang – 100Km, O/N Guest House.

AM visit Yongbulakhong Palace –15 Km & Changtsu Monastery, PM Visit King’s tombs-20 Km, O/N Same GuestHouse.

Drive to Lhasa, Takea detour cross the widest part of Yarlung Zangbu River,and visit the first Monastery in Tibet history,Samye Monastery, O/N GuestHouse.

AM Visit Potala Palace, PM Visit Sera Monastery. (Lhasa)

AM Visit Jokhang Monastery, PM Visit Drepung Monastery. (Lhasa)

Drive to Drikung Thil O/N stay Drikung Thil Monastery or guest house

Drive from Lhasa to Gyantse via Kampala Pass, Yamdrok Lake (picnic lunch at Lakeside), Karola Pass and visit Kumbum & Pelkor Chode Monastery when arrives in Gyantse Town, O/N Guest House.

Drive to Xigatse- 90 Km andvisit Tashilhunpo Monastery & free market in Town, O/N G House.

Drive to Rongbuk via Younongla Pass & Gyatso La Pass; visit Sakya monastery en-route O/N Guest House.

Drive to Kyirong , during Old Tingri region town, if the weather will favor to us, we can see Mt.Everest, Cho-Oyu, Lothse, Makalu, Shishapangma etc.O/N Guest House.

Exit to Nepal and continue the trip to Kathmandu – 170 km.

Final Departure to your destination.
