OVERVIEW :
Kailash Tour Departure in August 2025 program is focusing on retreat or self-meditation at the north base of Mt. Kailash- known as Charan sparsh or touch kailash on full moon. Charan sparsh or Touch kailash inner hiking of Mt. Kailash starts from Dirapuk to the north face of kailash, after about 3 KM hiking pilgrims reach to the glacier point. Some of pilgrims worship Kailash from this glacier because further up trail is full of glacier with crevasse so need some safety equipments; we will take interested persons who are able cross this part to the upper part of touch Kailash point on the north face of Holy Mt. Kailash. It is special event to touch Kailash on full moon date for all pilgrims. This program has one reserve day to make Nandi Inner Kora and Inner excursion on south face. We need local permission to make Nandi Inner kora and excursion tour of south face including Nandi Parvat, Atma Lingam Saptarishi cave, Milarepa cave, Serlung monastery, Yamdrok Monastery so if we get this local permission, we make Kailash Inner kora and Nandi Inner kora with Inner Kailash excursion. If we cannot get local permission for Nandi Inner kora and Kailash inner kora we make excursion tour to Tirthapuri, Garuda Valley -Kyunglung valley and Shang Shung .
This program includes many spiritual and holy sites around Holy Mt. Kailash and Holy Lake Manasarovar, All “AUM” followers including Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Bönpos have deep interest to make Holy Mt. Kailash Mansarovar Tour at least once in lifetime.
Mt. Kailash and Holy Lake Manasarovar is situated in the western part of Tibet, Ngari region (Autonomous region of China); it is one of the most popular spiritual and adventurous destinations for all people of the world. This region is the water source for South Asia as four rivers originated from region and covers many parts and countries of this territory. Mount Kailash and Manasarovar are in the high-altitude and dry region, rich in alpine flora and fauna. It is a beautiful part of the world, well known as the centre of the universe, behind the long Himalayas range so people can get a great view of the long Himalayas range with different lakes on the way. Holy Manasarovar Lake is situated between Mt. Gurla Mandhata and Kailash Parvat, so this lake has quite a different experience than other lakes in Tibet.
According to Hindu myth, Mt. Kailash is the holy homage of Lord Shiva, and three to four days of Circumambulation (parikrama) of this sacred mountain brings them to heaven, or they get liberation. There are many places related to Hinduism as Gauri Kund, Nandi Parbat, Yama Dwar, Saptarishi Cave, Atma lingam, Tirthapuri and Sheshnag Parvat in Kailash. Spiritual Expedition is organizing Kailash Tour Departure in August 2025 as per request from friends who want to Make Kailash inner kora, Nandi Inner kora (If get local permit), Charan Sparsh or touch Kailash from north side. According to Buddhism Mt. Kailash is the Precious Mountain with precious jewel of snows so it is well known as Gangs Rinpoche or Kangri Rinpoche. It is believed that Mt. Kailash is the dwelling place of Chakrasamvara, Demchog, Kora of Mt. Kailash with worship from four directions and Crossing Dolma-La Pass is one of the great spiritual importances for all Buddhist followers. There are many ancient monasteries around Holy Lake Manasarovar Including Milarepa cave on the way to Nandi Inner kora.
