Recently we returned from an amazing trek, that included remote regions of Mustang, organized by Spiritual Expeditions. In 2018 they set up our first Mustang trek. On the last day, before we boarded our departing flight in Jomsom, we began talking about our desire to return to this captivating part of Nepal. Sanjaya Devkota patiently helped us put together a second custom itinerary for 2022. This journey was more complicated logistically as it combined camping and the use of guest houses where available.
We were a party of two with a guide, cook, cook’s assistant/porter, horseman and four pack animals. For 27 days, while we enjoyed spectacular scenery, explored ancient ruins, sky caves and medieval villages, our team did the heavy lifting. They were knowledgeable, attentive, responsive to our needs and always smiling. Food (vegetarian) was excellent and creative. Sanjaya hired the best. For any future treks we wouldn’t hesitate to contact Spiritual Expeditions.
Thank you very much Sanjaya for an amazing adventure, very well organized, attentive, great service, guides, cooks and yaks! I will not hesitate to use your services again and recommend anyone to use this company for an adventure of a lifetime, spiritual, adventurous, challenging and purely amazing.

Let me first talk about Manasarovar and Kailash expedition. When I first heard about this I really thought that this would be beyond our reach but I went ahead to explore and study it anyway. I was indeed very fortunate to find you because as soon as I received your first email my outlook immediately changed and I was greatly encouraged to pursue this. Your recommendations and guidance really moved us and eventually we got to meet you in Lhasa, our starting point for this expedition. Your plans for all the travel, including road and trekking, were super and the guidance provided by you and your support staff was much more than extra ordinary. You provided us with the utmost luxury in both accommodations and meals in every place we visited, this includes the tents we stayed in while trekking around Kailash.
After doing Manasarovar and Kailash, we thought we might try Everest Base Camp. Once again your expert guidance and recommendations provided us with the encouragement we needed to undertake this expedition. With your guidance and the support of your staff, particularly Sherpa Prem, we were able to handle some of the most strenuous treks. When we were slow and late getting to our planned destinations, your assistance and guidance in negotiating the treks in the dark was truly exceptional. I cannot even imagine what we would have done without you.
Both the above expeditions have become distinct milestones in our lives and we will cherish our memories, pictures and videos forever. No doubt we are getting old but if you are with us we will not hesitate trying any adventure or expedition. Just simple words of thanks are now here close to adequate for what you and your staff have made possible for us. I hope we will get another opportunity to explore this world of ours with you.

I would like to write to you give a testimonial for your web-site to thank you for our trip to Upper Mustang in June 2014. Spiritual Expeditions did an amazing job of organizing this trip on short notice. There were 4 of us on the trip and Sanjaya was our guide. The trip surpassed all of our expectations from the time we arrived in Kathmandu until the end of our 140 mile trek. Our two helpers, Mr Prim and Mr. Sil Bahadur were a pleasure to be around for the two week trek. The Upper Mustang was an amazing place and the spiritual nature of the people, combined with the peacefulness of the valley made our trip unforgettable. We trekked from Tea House to Tea House, village to village and always felt welcomed and enjoyed the hospitality of the people we met. The whole trip was planned through and through by Sanjaya and was perfect. My next trip to Nepal I hope will be in 2016 with my wife and plan on doing another leg of the Himalayan Trail or Mt Kailas.
