Upper Mustang Trek


Lo-mangthang lies on Mustang district, north western Himalaya of Nepal. It is on Tibetan plateau near to Nepal – Tibet border which is rich on Tibetan culture & ancient Buddhism is different than other part of Himalaya.  Upper mustang opened to foreigners in 1992 with some restricted rule to trek around. It comes under restricted area which costs expansive trekking permit as compare with other trekking regions.

Trekking to upper mustang is one of the most popular destination in Nepal Himalaya. The trekking route goes across desert landscape, barren ridges, deep canyons, eroded cliffs and moraine valleys. The trail is behind the Himalayas Annapurna & Dhaulagiri so we can have nice mountain views too. In Upper part of trekking trails there are mysterious castles & sites which brief you the culture of entire Himalaya.The excursion tour of Lo-Manthang provides spirit with different Buddhist sites. This trek is combination of Nature, Culture, Tradition and History of Mustang Region so it provides extreme adventure & perfect experience to all trekkers.
