Muktinath Trek


Jomsom Muktinath lies on Mustang district, north western Himalaya of Nepal. It is on Tibetan plateau near to Nepal – Tibet border which is rich on Tibetan culture, ancient Buddhism and Hinduism is different than other part of Himalaya.  Jomsom Muktinath trek offers some spectacular mountain views and the route actually cross to the other side of the main Himalayan range for views of the northern flanks. This fascinating trek begins in Nepal’s northern most ramparts in the Thak Khola Canyon, as the Kali Gandaki is known in its upper reaches. After exploring the the arid, semi-desert, Tibet-like biotope of the trans-Himalaya with a trip to the renowned pilgrimage site of Muktinath. After Muktinath the trail follow the river southward as it cuts its way down between the two 8,000 meter massifs of the Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna Himal. PUNHILL offers panoramic view of mountain range is another destination on this trek and trek ends with the experience of ethnic villages of Annapurna Region with beautiful mountain views.
