It is well known destination for both Hindus and Buddhists as different aspects. In Sanskrit Mukti symbolize Salvation or Nirvana and Nath symbolize God. It is believed that pilgrimages should visit this temple after completing four spiritual sites "Chardham" of India .Muktinath consists of Buddhist Gompa and the pagoda style temple of Vishnu with 108 waterspouts. Buddhist call this valley the chumig gyatsa and believe that Guru Rimpoche meditated and gained achievement of spiritual knowledge around 12th century. There are different sites related with both religions around the valley. Now days there is road connection with Pokhara so if someone want to make driving trip, it is also possible. There are Jeeps and local bus transportation from Kathmandu & Pokhara instead of domestic flight. Due to bad road condition we suggest all pilgrims to take flight option for this holy yatra.Tour program & itinerary can be making according to your time frame and other interest.

Gorkha:

Historic Gorkha palace is situated on the top of Gorkha town can reach with one hour uphill climbing on the stone steps. The gorakhkali temple lies on west side of the main palace. Prithivi Narayan Shah who unified the present Nepal was the king form this historic palace and it is believed that he was blessed by Gorakhnath baba (sage) on his way to unified Nepal from small kingdoms around, after some years of unification, Kathmandu valley was concurred by Gorkha king and Kathmandu become capital of whole country so Gorkha palace, Gorakhnath baba and Gorakhkali Temple become famous destination for all. We can see beautiful mountain views, Landscape, Green Hills and Villages from this place.

Gorakhnath Pilgrimage:

Gorakhnath Temple is on the hilltop of Gorkha headquarter where the historic royal place of King Prithivinarayan shah and Gorakhkali temple situated. Gorakhnath temple and sacred cave is just ten meter below the southern side of Palace. The cave is carved out of the solid rock and is among the most important religious sites for mainstream Brahmins and Chhetris of Nepal. It is believed that the name gorkha came with the name after Gorakhnath Baba.

ITINERARY

Day 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU: Arrive at Kathmandu Trubhuwan International Airport, Meet with our Airport representative, transfer to hotel.

Day 02: KATHMANDU: After Breakfast full day Kathmandu sightseeing (Visit: Pashupantinath, Bouddhanath, Patan Durbar square & Budanilkhantha Temple)

Day 03: KATHMANDU – POKHARA: After Breakfast, Drive to Pokhara, Check in Hotel, after refreshment one hour boating at Fewa Lake and visit Talbarahi Temple.

Day 04: POKHARA – JOMSOM – KAGBENI: Breakfast at early in the morning and drive to Pokhara airpot fly to Jomsom Jomsom after refreshment trek to Kagbeni. Kagbeni is the place where two rivers (one form Damador Kunda and other form Muktinath) meets. Hindus do some rituals for their ancestors and family at this place as triveni of holy Kali Gandaki River.  On other side of river there is one of the old Shakya monastery in this region. Day 05: KAGBENI TO MUKTINATH:After breakfast trek up to muktinath, visit muktinath temple and monasteries around muktinath including dong monastery. Interested persons can take holy bath at 108 holy taps at Muktinath temple, visit light of peace and other spiritual sites. O/M Muktinath/ BLD

Day 06: MUKTINATH – JARKOT – JOMSOM:After breakfast trek down to another historic and spiritual monastery – jarkot. Jarkot monastery is spiritual center for lower mustang as thousands of Buddhists pilgrimages visit this monastery on festival time. It is also one of the old monastery in region. After trek to jomsom O/N Hotel/BLD.

Day 07: JOMSOM – POKHARA: After breakfast fly back to Pokhara. Check in hotel, Half day city tour (Visit: Bindabasini Temple, Seti George, Tibetan refugee camp, Davis fall, Gupteswar cave)

Day 08: POKHARA – GORKHA: After breakfast drive to Gorkha bazzar, it is historic city from where the unification of present nepal started. After refreshment visit old palace, Gorakhnath temple, Gorakhnath cave and Kali temple. We can see beautiful view of Manaslu and other mountain range from this place as all these sites is situated on the top of hill. O/N Hotel / BLD

Day 09: GORKHA – KATHMANDU: After Breakfast Drive to Kathmandu.  Overnight at Hotel.

Day 10: DEPARTURE: After Breakfast drives to Airport for final departure.
