Machhapuchhre Trek


Mt. Machhapuchhre or Mt.Fishtail lies on Annapurna Region in west Nepal. The west face &base camp of Machhapuchhre  be covered with Annapurna base camp but the northern side of this mountain is recently explored & opened for trekkers with support of Trekking agents association Nepal ( TAAN). Machhapuchhre Model trek, an alternative to other short treks in this region, probes an un-crowded corner of the Annapurna Conservation Area under the shadows of the Lamjung Himal and the Annapurna II and IV. The trekking trail covers different ethnic villages and holds immense potential for trekking and hiking activities. This new trekking route offers pristine mountain views and scenic beauty of streams, rich vegetation along with the culture & art, lifestyle of the ethnic dwellers & genuine adventure so the trek is short & easy having different wilderness experience in the region. This area is rich on floore and Fauna as we can see Monkey,common leopard, Ghoral, Himalayan Thar and many more other animals can be seen. Many kind of Pheasant as Dhanphe, Kaliz, Monal can be seen on trekking trail. We can get Yarshagumba,Panchaunle,Jatamasi,Nirmashi, Chiraito and Lauth Salla in these region.The trekking program can be design according to the time interval of trekkers as this is village trek.
