Naya Kanga Expedition


Nayakanga or Ganja la chuli lies on central Himalayan range – Langtang region. Langtang Region is near from Kathmandu so it is being popular for trekking as well as mountaineering. The views form Langtang region is different than the other parts of Himalayas as it provide the nice views of Tibetan mountains & valleys. From the summit of Naya Kanga we can see spectacular panoramic views of mountains in Nepal and Tibet including Langshisa Ri (6,370m), Pemthang Ri (6,836m), Shisapangma (8,046m), Langtang Lirung (7,425m), Pemthang Kapro Ri (6,830m) and Langtang II (6,571m). If we trek north above Kangjin, there are several trekking & hiking points that provide both the magnificent views and the acclimatization. North - east of Kyangjin Ri (4,700m), there are two peaks; Yala Peak (5, 500m) and Tsergo Peak (5,749m) that provide good climbing for acclimatization.

Day 04 : Trek to Ghoratabela.
Day 05 : Trek to Langtang.
Day 06 : Trek to Kyangjin Gompa
Day 07 : Rest at Kyangjin Gompa.
Day 08 : High camp at Yala Peak.
Day 09 : Summit Yala Peak back to  Kyangjin Gompa.
Day 10 : Trek to Base Camp of Naya Kanga.
Day 11 : Trek to High Camp.
Day 12 : Summit Naya Kanga then back to Base Camp.
Day 13 : Trek to Kyangjin gompa.
Day 14 : Trek to Ghoratabela.
Day 15 : Trek to Syabru.
Day 16 : Syabru - Kathmandu by land transportation.
Day 17: Kathmandu
Day 18 : Departure
