Annapurna Expedition


Mt. Annapurna (8091m) is the tenth highest mountain in the world. In 1950, it became the first 8,000 meter mountain to be successfully climbed. It is located east of a great gorge cut through the Himalaya by the Kali Gandaki River & gorge cut through the Himalaya by the Kali Gandaki River which separates from the Dhaulagiri Massif. It is glaciers on western and northwestern slopes drain into this gorge. Annapurna expedition is seventh highest mountain in the world. Mt. Annapurna expedition (8091m) was first climbed by a French expedition Maurice Herzog and Luis Lachenal in 1950. There are four summits which is called Annapurna. The main summits Annapurna base camp/Annapurna sanctuary, Annapurna II is above Chame, about 24 km to the east.

Day 06: Trek to Tatopani (1189m). O/N Lodge.
Day 07: Trek to Ghasa (2012m). O/N Lodge.
Day 08: Trek to Lete (2438m). O/N Lodge.
Day 09: Trek to Thulo Bugin. O/N Camp
Day 10: Trek up to Thulo Bugin pass. O/N camp.
Day 11: Trek to Mristi Khola. O/N Camp.
Day 12: Trek up to Base Camp.
Day 13-47: Climbing period of Mt. Annapurna.
Day 48: Settlement of Garvage/ Rest
Day 49:  Trek to Thulo BuginO/N Camp
Day 50: Trek to Lete. O/N Lodge.
Day 51: Trek to Tukuche. O/N Lodge.
Day 52: Trek to Jomsom. O/N Hotel
Day 53:  Jomsom / Pokhara / Kathmandu by flight O/N Hotel.
Day 54: Free day At Kathmandu
Day 55: Departure.
